Winter equipment

For spreading sand and salt on the roads at winter time.

Bredal A/S are producer of a winter kit, for sand/salt spreading, to mount on the Bredal trailers and the mounted units.
With a winter kit on your spreader you are able to distribute sand/salt at parking lots, roads etc. The construction of the kit ensures, the spread materiel to be leaded down on the road from where it follows the surface, this principle reduces the risc of damaging cars or materiel.

By mounting this kit at your Bredal spreader you will add another possibility of use, and thereby a better chance to utilize the machine.
The working width are varied by increasing or decreasing the rotations on the spreading disc, this is done by the valve on the picture.
The disc is driven hydraulic, and therfore it is necessary with a single working hydraulic outlet, with a return to the tractor.

The sand/salt kit can spread over larger scales as well as smaller.
By changing the drop down point on the disc you are able to change the sideways distribution, so you will be able to spread all over the road from the right lane, or with the reversed version from the left lane.
