Bredal has, through our polish dealer RB Uslugi, this spring delivered 3pcs K135 to Poldanor in Poland.
Poldanor is a company, who has a very good relation to Bredal, the main brand of fertilizer and limespreaders are Bredal, and it has been so for many years. Now the company has bought 3 pcs of the largest model of Bredal spreaders. The 3 new boogie spreaders holds 17m3 in the hopper.
The 3 new spreaders are substituting 9 older versions (3* B2, 3* B6 and 3* K85), then the ”fleet” of Bredals is reduced from 11 pcs, to 5 pcs, so now it consist of 2 * K105 and 3 * K135. The hopper volume in total in the 3 new spreaders are approximately the same as in the 9 old ones, but now Poldanor can reduce the number of tractordrivers with 6.
The 5 spreaders are, according to Bjarne Møller of Poldanor, to maintain approximately 13.000 hectares, where they yearly spread app. 5000 ton of lime and 7500 ton of fertilizer. The 5 spreaders are mounted with the Bredal 500 computer which is GPS ready, and in the near future it is the plan to start GPS spreading of both lime and fertilizer.
The 3 pcs K135 is being pulled by 300 horse power tractors, and the 2 pcs K 105 by 200 horse power tractors. It is an impressing sight to see the 3 large spreaders in the fields in Poland. The big exhibition in Hannover, Germany, was as always an exiting week for Bredal, it is a big show for Bredal, where we get a good dialogue with existing and potential customers from all around the globe. As well as some good contacts and discussions with colleagues of other manufactors in the agricultural business. And as well it is always nice to see our dealers from all over the world, coming here with potential customers. This year we have expanded our exhibition stand with approximately 100 m2, to get some more room at the stand to show the machinery and to have more sufficient room for our customers. Because of the larger stand, we also had some more personnel at the exhibithion this year, we had a great help of Mr. Tomas Balciunas, who is Lithuanian, Russian and English speaking, by having him at our stand we could provide a bettter service for many of our new eastern european customers. Beside Tomas Balciunas, and the staff from Bredal, we were also accompanied by our German dealer Honermeier (3 persons) and our Austrian dealer Ratasich (1 person), so in total we had a minimum personnel at the stand of 7 persons. The show was very well attended, and we was very happy to see our many contacts from around the world, and are very much looking forward to see you all in Herning, Denmark in November 2008 to the Agromek show, which will be the next larger exhibition for Bredal.
Franzefoss miljøkalk in Norway has just bought a specialdesignet K 135 to fit their special needs. Franzefoss who is one of the largest Limedistributors in Norway, and a good and long term Bredal customer, made a request for a special spreader with a loading shutter and an ABS braking system, these 2 jobs is not everyday jobs for Bredal, but together with the customer and our good suppliers, Bredal has made a K 135 which holds 17000 litres, but only have the loading height of 2,4 m. With this low loading height, the spreader is ideal to tip in from a high tipping truck. And with this system you can cover a lot of ha in a day. With a boogie axle and the CARGO XBIB (750/60-30.5) wheelmounting the spreader is very gentle on the ground, with a low pressure on the axle, and a high touch to the ground. the spreader is as well delivered with a weight transfer kit, with this system you can transfer up to 1 ton, to the front axle of the tractor to get a better grip. The braking system on the spreader is also different than normal, as the customer wanted an ABS system that can be used with both a tractor with pneumatic brakes, and one with hydraulic. By this system, the spreader can run with most tractors. With the new type of lightkit (LED) mudguards, weight transfer kit, the loading shutter, the ABS braking system and much more extra equipment, the spreader looks very impressive. The spreader is mounted with computer control which can be combined with different GPS systems. If you would like to read some of our older news, have a look in our archive (click here) |
